Hili Company is seeking to recruit an Accountant to form part of its finance team in Malta. The successful candidate will report to the CFO.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Preperation of management accounts of the company and related undertakings;
  • Assisting the CFO in the preperation of consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts and other ad hoc reporting;
  • Preparation of information necessary for the management of cash flow;
  • Assisting the CFO in undertaking due diligences, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions;
  • Liasing with the company's auditors in the undertaking of group audits;
  • Liasing with banks and other financial insitutions;
  • Monitoring and controlling administrative expenditure and issuing payments to suppliers.

The preferred candidate will be either a qualified accountant or in the process of obtaining their ACCA qualification or equivalent. Audit experience will be considered a bonus. Hili Company is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to form part of its team in Malta. The successful applicant will be habitually working in Valletta and may be occasionally requested to report to the main offices in St Julians or other locality in Malta.

The selected candidate will work directly with, and report to, the Group's Director of Legal on the group's real estate activities, as well as group legal and compliance affairs. Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Report to the Director of Legal for daily updates, accomplishments, and any issues requiring attention;
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling, filing hard copies and soft copies on the company server and organising documents;
  • Coordinate meetings and events and prepare agendas;
  • Assist in project management by tracking deadlines and facilitating communication;
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of documentation, presentations and reports for internal use and external stakeholders;
  • Provide general secretarial and administrative support as needed;
  • Liase with vendors and clients, providing excellent customer service;
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory;
  • Assist in the sales and marketing of the Company's real estate portfolio.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
