Gerard Sammut
Director and Chief Executive Officer of BCT
Gerard joined the group’s Riga operation, Baltic Container Terminal, in 1997 from Air Malta where he held the post of Head of Strategic Planning and Control. Today, as Chief Executive Officer of Baltic Container Terminal, he is responsible for the overall operation and direction of the terminal. Gerard has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience on both the corporate finance and terminal operation sides of the business.
Gerard graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (Hons) from the Norwegian School of Management and a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Malta. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
